The Awards Categories will be unveiled after the official launching in March 2016. We will have categories under the students' Hall of fame, Corporate Platinum Awards, Educational Ambassadors Awards, Student Ambassadors' Awards and Meritorious Service Awards.


NOMINATION PROCESS
1.      A student seeking to nominate a person or body of persons shall do so by visiting our website www.nsaghana.org to obtain a copy of the nomination forms
2.      Submit the completed nomination forms to awardghana@gmail.com
3.      The List of Nominees shall then be shortlisted by the NSA Council
4.      Council may then call on all nominees for interviews to obtain additional information and seek clarification where necessary after which a summary mark of up to 40% shall be duly scored to nominees.
5.      Voting will be done by text messages for 60% of the total marks to be scored by nominees
6.      Council shall upon the close of voting compile the votes obtained by each nominee and prepare a final sheet for winners.
7.      It must be noted that nominations are opened for the only the Student Hall of Fame and Corporate platinum awards only.
It must be noted that in order to make it easy for 2016 nominations, Google Forms shall be used to allow nominees to be able to complete nomination forms using the mobile phone or any suitable computer. This is to curb the challenges which nominees faced in filling the nomination forms for NSA 2015.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The aims and objectives of the awards includes but not limited to
1        Serve as a motivation to corporate organisations investing hugely in education in Ghana to continue the good services they are offering
2        Serve as a means to generate revenue in support of Brilliant but needy students.
3        Encourage workers not only teachers in our educational institutions to know that their efforts are also appreciated by we the students they serve
4        Honour foreign Nationals and diplomats who once schooled in Ghana and are making a good use of the education they acquired in Ghana.
5        Motivate students of Ghana studying both home and abroad to know  that the path they have taken is the right one
6        Bring to the notice of parents and students the wonderful efforts people are making to keep Ghana educated
7        Show to the world the need for Unity and Togetherness as we show what our united efforts as national student leaders can do to accelerate National Development
8        Recognise and honour students with special abilities and talents
9        To recognise and award former student leaders who distinguished themselves in serving Ghanaian Students.



PARTICIPATING INSTITUTIONS:
This award is the joint efforts of the student leadership of every educational institution in Ghana and is in partnership with all recognised student organizations in Ghana with National Orientation and can be named to include but not limited to;

1         The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS)
2         The Ghana National Union of Polytechnic Students (GNUPS)
3         The Private University Students Association of Ghana (PUSAG)
4         The University Students Association of Ghana (USAG)
5         The Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS)
6         The Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG)
7         The National Health Students Association of Ghana (NAHSAG)
8         The Regional Students Representative Council (RSRC)
9         The Students Integrity Network (STIN) Ghana
10     The Foreign Students Association of Ghana
