The National Students' Awards of the Republic of Ghana is a flagship award scheme organised by the NSA Ghana, with support from student organisations in Ghana with a National orientation having a sole aim of recognising the contribution of our Country's education to the Development of Ghana, Africa and the World at large, and also recognize individuals, corporate organisations and students who have contributed significantly towards the development of education in Ghana.

It is a platform to show to the world that indeed Ghana is the gateway to Africa and that the players in Education as well as the students of Ghana are contributing in diverse ways to global development.

The wonderful point to note is that all spheres of our country's educational levels and systems from Day-Care through Kindergarten to the University Level and even includes Ghanaian Students Studying abroad, are all part of this scheme.

Additionally, this year's awards will not only honour Ghanaian Nationals but also foreign Nationals excelling significantly in education in Ghana, and also Ambassadors and diplomats in Ghana contributing to the development of education in Ghana.


Finally, this award has a touch of professionalism and will also honour the contribution of corporate Ghana to educational development in Ghana. In this regards, corporate organisations that are contributing meaningfully to education in Ghana will have a sense of appreciation and know that we the students of Ghana do appreciate your immense contribution to education in Ghana.
The NSA Ghana is a Company Limited by Guarantee established to facilitate the organisation of the National Students Awards. It started its operations in 2012 however official registration with the Registrar General's department started in 2014 and in 2015 we received certification for incorporation and for the commencement of operations; after which the maiden edition of the National Students’ Awards 2015 was put together successfully at the Zenith University College auditorium located behind the Trade Fair Centre, La, Accra.

The maiden edition saw to honour Educational Ambassadors like His Excellency Former President  John Agyekum Kuffuor, His Excellency Former President  Jerry John Rawlings,  The Former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Prof. Adei Mensah, the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander DCOP Christian Tetteh Yohuno; as well as other students and student leaders who have contributed to the development of education in Ghana.

The University Hall (KATANGA Hall) of KNUST won the Hall of Residence of the year and ‘’No Yawa’’ from the University of Ghana Legon was adjudged the Campus Group of the Year 2015. Francisca Oteng Mensah of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology also won the Student Personality of the Year Award. The event brought together over 2000 dignitaries, students, student leaders, Media personnel, and corporate organisations who participated in the exhibition of goods and services tailored for the student market.

VISION
The Vision of the National Students' Awards is to create a globally recognised awards scheme at the student level and use it as a platform to honour educational heroes of Ghana in particular, Africa, and the world at large. In five (5) years from 2014, it is expected that this awards will become one of the most sought awards of all time in Africa.

MISSION
With a touch of professionalism and using modern technology as a tool, this awards is to honour individuals and organizations, both local and abroad making a meaningful impact in our country's education and use this awards as a reward scheme to motivate awardees as well as future prospective awardees to continue serving the country with passion.

THEME
The Theme for this year's award is "Quality, affordable, and accessible education, The Key to National Development".

SLOGAN
The slogan for the NSA Ghana is ‘Awarding the Deserving’
